Q: How do you remove dirt and stains from a wall coated with Viero Acrylic?

A: Dirt and stains are easily removed with just soap and water. If there are old stains that have absorbed into the paint, use a high pressure power wash.

 


Q: I would like to repaint the outside of my house. The walls have been coated with an old synthetic coating. What can I use?

A: In the event of the synthetic coating bubbling or detaching itself from the wall surface, wash the surface with a high pressure power wash, remove all areas not completely anchored to the surface, restore the underlying plasterwork and proceed, after 3 or 4 days, with the application of Visolplast Siena synthetic fine render, in accordance with the application instructions outlined on the technical data sheet.

 


Q: What is the difference between Elastomeric Finishes and Viero Acrylic Finishes?

A: Elastomeric finish can only be used to correct deteriorated or cracked stucco, not prevent it. Even though Elastomeric has stretching capabilities, it lacks recovery characteristics especially under hot temperatures. Viero Acrylic Finish, on the other hand, prevents cracking for up to ten years and repairs hairline cracking. Also Viero is able to stretch and recover during high temperature swings.
